Men Black Tie Attire Guide
In short, it appears that you have easy when it comes to clothes black tie: all guess work what to wear is non-existent, everyone expects you to be in the same outfit as everyone else and you'll have to wear again and again! More black suit and tie that will make you "hot smoking" – no matter what body shape you are.
But hot smoking can turn into a damp squib, if you do not follow some simple rules of dress.
RULES OF THE tuxedo
The tuxedo evolved from the smoking jacket. In 1860, the tailors Henry Poole & Co made a short black tuxedo jacket for trend setting Prince of Wales (later Edward VII) to bring to the semi-formal meetings in London as a comfortable alternative to the stuffy formal wear tails.
James Potter a wealthy New Yorkers took the Looking Back to the States with him where he proved so popular at exclusive country club, the Tuxedo Park Club, he became their informal dining uniform. And you guessed it – the jacket has become known as a tuxedo.
In fact, the name came years before the tuxedo tuxedo name. Great Britain was yet known smoking room or jacket.
What style jacket to choose?
The original style was a shawl collar and a single Buttoned chest (derived from the smoking jacket), then came along a more formal look backhand peaked (the coat) and later, and now more popular are the setbacks notched (from lounge suits).
The shawl collar is softer and would do most of the guys round and softer with the guys as facial features.
The most conspicuous sweep peaked lapels wider than the shawl, to broaden the region of the chest for the thinner build and also sweeping up shorter guy will appear larger. The sharpness of the peaked lapel is also more sharp facial features.
The notches setback is the most popular, although considered less formal by the traditionalists.
The first double dinner jacket chest was commissioned by the Savile Row song and dance man Jack Buchanan and was popularized by the Prince of Wales (later later Edward VIII / Duke of Windsor) in 1930. This style is best for skinny guys to fat as it adds bulk. However, it makes the body appear more short, it is a good choice for the guy very big but not very good for the little man who should stick to simple buttons. Guys should also versatile avoid double button and go for the most slimming style single-breasted buttoned.
Most DJs are less vent that create the illusion height and a slimmer silhouette – especially great for guys shorter and heavier guys. Some have side vents, but are less formal and not looking not as elegant, best kept for more lanky guy.
What color?
Always black or midnight blue. The two are the only acceptable colors formal, so please do not be tempted to wear any other color. The midnight blue has more depth and we said to look more black than black under artificial light. Black can take a greenish hue. Wearing blue midnight, was popularized by Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII / Duke of Windsor) in the 1920s. Rent or buy?

Pants
Obviously have to be cut from the same cloth as the jacket in order to buy or rent together. The fabric on the seams should match the fabric on the lapels of the jacket with satin or grosgrain
The more formal pleated front, high waist and are held by braces. This style hides a little less than perfectly flat stomach, legs longer and looser size allows for large meals. It can be cut Edge Mode, but we are talking about tradition and style.
Definitely do not wear a belt.
RULES FOR THE shirt and cufflinks
Always choose white and buy a real shirt, shirt will not do normal.

Go for a self tie rather than pre-bound. Otherwise, how will you get this look sexy draped loosely tie at the end of the night?
Proportional link keep your face – the ends of the arc must be online somewhere between the edge of your face and the outer corners of eyes. Anything smaller or larger of your head will look disproportionate.
The link type is also important:
The bow tie is a great arc and must be worn by men with a neck size larger, more face and chin, otherwise you might end up looking more like a clown by James Bond.
The right tie Batwing is narrow and it is preferable to thin men with faces rather long and narrow neck size.
Diamond Bow ties are not as common are good to add some individuality while stick to the rules black tie.
However, thistle or semi-butterfly is the most classic and popular tie. It is smaller than the full throttle and more thick that the link bat is a safer choice for most men.
SHOES & SOCKS Forthe RULES
A pump with bows of silk is the traditional evening shoes and goes back to the 16th C when they are worn with knee breeches and silk stockings. The name derives pump because of their elegance. However, most men now wear either patent leather or shining black calfskin slip-on or lace. Slippage is on the most formal of the two.
For patents, go upscale like patent shoes cheaper crack over time. A patent leather is a good reason calfskin to sand the top surface to give a mirror finish, then a thin layer of polyurethane finish is applied giving a real patent.
Socks should be black silk, no wool or pieces of light patterns.
RULES Forthe ACCESSORIES
Belt or vest?
You do not have to wear either, but keep in mind your shirt. Vests and cummerbunds are a great way to hide, where the arrival dress pins and buttons ordinary start.

RULES TO THE FINISH
You must always watch the game when you arrive and leave, so no parkas, raincoats, anoraks and other sports coats.
The Chesterfield is the formal traditional garb, others dressed in long dark coats are acceptable. The white silk scarf is formal with acorns.
Remember, the black-tie events where you can watch guys suave and sophisticated black and white – leave the pomp and color we wear – outfitted right, you do not need.
