Bluetooth Handsfree Speakerphone

How come no one can do voice control via bluetooth as well as Motorola?

I had an old E815 M flip phone that had Motorola’s voice command feature. There was no traiing involved, etc… When I used it with a sstandard bluetooth headset, I NEVER had to remove the phone from my pocket. I simply turned on the headset, clicked the button, and I was prompted to say a command… like “call home”. To end the call I clicked the same button again. WHY can’t anyone else get this right?
I have had a TREO an iPhone 3G and now a iPhone 3GS and they suck at dialing handsfree. Any suggestions for 3rd party software that can give me this control, or do I just have to wait and hope that Apple gets it right. This tech has been around forever. I don’t understand why it is not readily available. I miss my E815M. If someone can suggest a good car speakerphone that works with my iPhone 3GS COMPLETELY hands-free in the car, you will get the win. Thanks!!

The voice control is in the phone, not the bluetooth. My blackberry curve has a really good voice control and required no training. I guess you just have to wait for Apple to get things right.
