What is a bluetooth headset and what does it do?
And how is it related to the bluetooth dongle? Bluetooth dongles are all the same? As in their purpose, shape / size …? If I want to transfer music / photos from my computer to my cell, assuming bluetooth range, which should I do? I just kind of been sleeping under a rock when it comes to technology, so please advise.
A Bluetooth headset is an earpiece or a set of headphones that can connect to multiple types of devices for transmitting sound. There is actually another type of helmet, not mentioned above. The mono / stereo headset, which is my favorite. This headset can be connected as a mono headset (for phone calls) or a stereo headset (For music). If you're phone can play music, this helmet will probably be perfect for you. Jabra BT8010 is my favorite that I just found to shopcell.com to 28.99. I remember the first time, I received a call while listening to music. I thought it was so smooth as the music pauses automatically and the phone started ringing. If you're mainly interested in the transfer of music files with your dongle computer, the profile you will need is the File Transfer Profile (FTP). I can not imagine a dongle that would not fit the profile. I found the Asus WL-USB Bluetooth Dongle 2.0 BTD201M adapter for $ 19.99 at cnet.com who should do the trick for you. Another combo of my favorites is to have bluetooth in my car elongated with a Bluetooth iPod adapter. My children may be in the backseat playing DJ with the iPod the sound is played through the speakers. All Wireless! And the BT8010 can also connect to the iPod via the adapter. Sony adapter is my favorite, but they are a bit pricey at about $ 50.
