Saving My laptop battery life Methods
We are all like quests … right? Well, mine has to do with getting the maximum My Sony VGP-BPS9 on my laptop aging. Aging including battery power-supply. - Do not use external devices. Even an external mouse or a USB drive will use the additional power.
- According your distribution, you might consider using a different window manager. Some window managers have a large number of programs executed in the background who will be processing power and in turn use more of your battery. Although I normally KDE 4, I use when I Windowmaker am trying to save energy.
- Disable 3D acceleration in yourgain, it will use the processing power necessary. You can do this in your / etc/X11/xorg.conf file by commenting out the load DRI and glx modules. Just put a # in front of them.
