Mac OS X and Bluetooth?
Hello, I hate to admit it, but I know little of Bluetooth (BT). My Mac PowerBook G4 has a capacity of BT, but it does not recognize the Logitech V220 wireless mouse. I wanted to release Wireless USB. It works with a BT adapter. Is it possible to have the laptop recognize the V220 without using their card? The G4 has the heat so I have a CoolPad taking a USB port. Since I spoil my trackpad is a mouse connected on other USB devices. (I'll call "fixation" on the trackpad another thread!) Much thanks for any help, any suggestions!
Although I'm still not used to my OS X, I'll still answer your question because this is not an OS X problem – rather a problem with the mouse. The Logitech V220 Wireless Mouse for Notebooks does not use Bluetooth technology. Instead, it uses a 2.8 GHz signal directly from mouse for the receiver. There is no way to connect your computer to your mouse using the bluetooth, because the mouse does not use Bluetooth. Sorry!
