What is the connection between Medium Access Control (MAC) and MAC address hardware?
For example, in an Ethernet network, where all guests share a common bond issued for each host to access the link is as Medium Access Control Protocol CSMA / CD. Also any hardware device communication (computer NIC, Bluetooth adapter, mobile phone, etc.) has a "MAC address". How is it the MAC address associated with the aforementioned access control?

Address MAC consists of 6 segments of hexadecimal numbers as A1: B2: C3: D4: E5: F6 The first 3 represent the company (every company that manufactures card has its own unique number / s) The last 3 digits represent the map's own unique number. In this way, as long as the company has not take 2 cards with the same 3 digits, No. 2 cards will never be the same hardware address. Unlike IP addresses, MAC addresses are "burned-in" the card factory and can not be changed (easily).
