The printers work through routers?
Well, I'll buy / staples and other electronics stores to find a printer today. My main computer is a laptop, and I'm looking to buy a printer where I can send my documents my laptop wirelessly to the printer. I do not know exactly what to buy, or what to look for. Do wireless printers through your router? Or are they Bluetooth devices? My laptop does not have a bluetooth adapter but I have a wireless router, connect my laptop to my modem, with 4 additional Ethernet ports. I'm looking for something that can receive and print documents without my laptop connected nothing. . can someone explain to me how they work and what I should look / ask in the store? Links are appreciated as bestbuy well.
You could just buy something that says it is compatible wireless netwrok (yes it connect to the wireless router) or buy a printer has everything you want and then spend an extra $ 30 on a "wireless print server. This is a little gadget that provides the wireless feature on any USB printer. This will connect wirelessly to your router and has a USB port (or two) in it to connect your printer. You can then go to the Printers folder in Control Panel and controk "add printer" then "Add a printer netwrok. The print server appears on the list of machines available with the printer below.
