The HTC Desire HD has a powerful 8 megapixel camera for HD video recording and image capture. It also now features the latest Android operating system, 2.2 (Froyo), along with the user interface HTC Sense for social networking and more.
The handset has a large 4.3 inch WVGA (480 by 800 pixels) touch screen with pinch to zoom capability and features text and video in better clarity than ever. When using the web browser, you can sit back though, as it now automatically adapts the text and images ion webpages to fit the large display for you. The phone is now powered by 1 GHz processor along with an impressive 768 megabytes of random access memory (RAM). The internal storage is 1.5 gigabytes with expandable storage via a microSD card slot featured, offering plenty of space for music, videos and more.
The Desire HD features an 8 megapixel auto focus camera with dual LED loofahs and face detection, along with other in0built effects when capturing images. Video recording is in 720 pixel High Definition also. Both images and videos have automatic Geotagging providing location based information as to where they were captured, they can also be instantly shared through the HTC Sense interface with friends with support for Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube respectively.
The phone has a Gallery widget to view images and playback videos in High Definition quality, and also the Music application which offers sorted tracks and albums in cover flow. You can also use the DLNA connectivity to connect the handset to a television for even bigger screen entertainment. For further music entertainment and live news the phone also features an integrated FM radio. Sound quality is provided with Dolby Mobile and SRS virtual surround sound.
The handset also has Android Market allowing you to download further widgets and applications for the phone to run and providing even more resources and customisation for the handset. It is possible to read eBooks on this phone too, and the web browser supports full Flash applications on the Web. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 2.1 and a microUSB (USB 2.0) connection for syncing and sharing data easily between the handset and other devices such as a computer.
The HTC Desire HD is a powerful handset featuring both the latest power in software combined with some impressive hardware including its 1 GHz processor and high amount of RAM which both make it more than adequately capable of running all of your favourite applications at once.
