Vinyl gloves: Being economical in pricing, these vinyl gloves are ideal for frequent everyday use. These are not so suitable for surgeries or high risk situations when the wearer comes in contact with patient’s body fluid. The vinyl gloves are low in strength and thus are prone to wear and tear with repeated use.
Nitrile gloves: Nitrile gloves are highly durable and resistant to wear and tear. These gloves are activated by your body heat bringing a perfect-fit size for the wearer. Similar to latex gloves, nitrile gloves too have a sticky outer surface enabling the wearer to hold things perfectly well. These are highly recommended in the medical field. Additionally, they also help avoid skin contact with oil, grease and solvents, and are ideal for use in automobile industry.
Synthetic gloves: Combination of nitrile and vinyl gloves make the new synthetic gloves. It offers stronger resistance compared to standard vinyl gloves and are far cheaper when compared to nitrile gloves. Choosing the right kind of medical examination gloves might be crucial for the patient’s life. Therefore, it must be done in the right manner with all knowledge of the benefits each medical glove may offer.
