Who is the best after-market Standard V Factory iPod Car Kits

Many vehicles are now produced with the iPod car kits pre-installed or option to buy one at the dealership as part of a package deal. The problem is that there are many variants of iPod car kit. So what is the best option. Standard factory or aftermarket?

I could hear a client say they were iPod sold a kit when they bought a new car dealership. It has been suggested that this was the best option available for his car and nothing else was comparable. To be fair, he was quite happy with it. He did what he wanted it to do. However, the client was looking around and decided to check to see if anything else was available, just out of interest.
