ProTelX Headsets Launch in the UK
As the price for quality office headset increase by up to 20% for the third time in 2009 NB Data start the revolution by manufacturing their own brand of headset to compete with the likes of Plantronics and Jabra.
Over recent months the prices of headsets by Plantronics and Jabra have been on the increase seeing over a 20% rise this year alone, and the tightened budgets from the end users has forced the distributors and headset retailers having to significantly reduce their margins to the point where the increasing costs of advertising in such a competetive arena means there is little incentive to promote these expensive brands.
NB Data has decided to tackle this by manufacturing their own brand of headsets and accessories that rival the market leaders in quality but blow them out of the water with prices. The new brand ProTelX has delivered a fantastic range of corded headsets with monaural, binaural, voice tube, and noise cancelling versions. One of NB Data’s Directors Mr Neil Hinde stated “This was a no-brainer. Our customers want good quality headsets but don’t want to pay the earth. We have delivered and it has been one of the easiest cross-sell items we have ever had. Nearly every customer that rings up for a Plantronics H251 goes away happy with a PTX 101 and we even give them the bottom cable for free. Simples!”
With some of the counties largest PLCs currently trialling the PTX range of ProTelX headsets with a view of ditching their current brands it seems that there could soon be a headset revolution and about time!
