I have a GE cordless phone black mz 900. How can I remove the handset to be repaired?
The headphone jack is not working. I can hear when I use a headset option, but not without a helmet. The switch in the headphone jack seems to be stuck or something.
I recommend using a 900 MHz phone, because it can easily be intercepted and listened to a radio scanner. the handset is not designed to be opened or repaired. remove the battery cover and remove the battery. Remove any stickers that may be on the back of the unit, check for screws, if there proballay you need a precision screwdriver set to get the screws out, otherwise you'll have to use a small flat screwdriver to pry open (good luck getting back together if you try to separate) phones are pretty cheap now … go search yourself a band of 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz or one of those new cordless phones …
