If you do this for someone else, I recommend fully test the phone before disassembly. Check the speaker (regular and strong) and the microphone to be sure it is working properly.
Start with the phone lying face-down and in front of you. Before taking the battery off, you'll need to remove the screw located next to the antenna. This is not the circle of rubber, but instead is the rectangle with rounded edges. Just use the small flat-head and push into the board. This piece is nothing more than a sticker, but it may take a little effort to lift off. Now, remove the battery cover. You will see a total of 4 tri-wing screw here. Remove and set aside.
Use your thumbnail or flat-head, go around the edge of split phone and the phone apart. You should hear a popping sound. Do not panic! Only the clips release. There are two clips on each side of the phone for release. After that is done, place the phone upside down and gently pull the phone out while stirring. The phone should appear outside. Sometimes one falls to the side keys do anything. Do not worry, all you have to do is drag behind and you're set.
After getting back completely off, you should be able to see a small square hole at the top of phone where the hinges are. Search inside this hole. On the right side you will see a white plastic pop-rivet. " Use your screwdriver and push toward the center as well as on. You try to push this over the phone side. It takes a little practice at first, but it comes out. The edges can be damaged a bit, too, but it will still return the phone when you're done. After obtaining the hinge, place the back of the phone back together. Leave the hinge on the counter yet.
Congratulations! You're halfway done with this phone. After you've finished putting the screws into the back of the phone, open it. You will see four (4) screw covers around the internal LCD screen. As part next to the antenna, they are more than just stickers. Push as deep as you can with your flathead screwdriver and remove them. Then take four (4) screws tri-wing as you did in the back of the phone.
Remember how you jumped on the back of your phone off? You will do the same thing in front of the phone. After you received all 4 screws on the phone, manage your thumbnail or a small flat-head around the slot in the side of the phone. You hear the same "crackling, and then it will pop open like a car hood.
After you open the phone, watching the hinge. You should see a small silver coin (like a puzzle piece) you can take with your fingernail. Go ahead and pop on that piece. Now it should look familiar! Just as you did on the back of the phone of pop to this hinge and the front and right slide off.
Now take your screwdriver and remove the speaker of the plate. You will see two screws. It may be helpful to have your magnetized screwdriver to avoid losing the screws. Put the speaker in the new plate and replace the screws. Put plastic cover behind the little hole and put the back cover on the phone. Press the outer edges, and you hear the "magnetism" ring again. It's a good thing. That means you have to reassemble it correctly.
Before putting the screws and hinges back is a good time to turn the phone on and tested. When it powers up, you should hear the startup sound. If not, check and make sure the phone is not in vibrate mode or silent mode and try again. If you have not heard, do not panic. Open the phone back and watch up the LCD. You will see what looks like two little gold feet. They are not in contact with the loudspeaker (which is screwed into the wall). Very very very carefully, fold up a little and close to the front again. Try the loudspeaker. If you did everything correctly, you should hear something out of it.
