has just pierced ears, how long should I wait to get smaller gauges?
Okay, soo I just got my ears pierced like two days ago. " <& I also bought the smaller gauges (12, I think). I clean my ears all days, if that makes a difference, but how long should I wait before putting them in? Thank you and a lot if you answer! ^___^
First, Be patient. Stretching your lobes is not a race. Most shops will pierce your lobes 18g or 20g, unless you requested something different. So the next step is probably to 16g. Many sites can sell you candles or tiny rings in this size. Do not skip gauge size – This will just lead to problems that will make it harder for you to keep stretching in the future (scar tissue, thinning lobes, and thus on). Since your ears were just bored, you must wait until they are cured or you just traumatize your lobes poor. Wait at least 5-6 months. Meanwhile, concentrate on getting your lobes healthy by warm sea salt absorbs twice daily (1 / 4 tsp of salt per 1 cup of water). Here is a timeline to stretch well beyond 16g: 16g to 14g – 1 month 14g to 12g – 1 month 12g to 10g – 1.5 months 10g to 8g – 2 months 8g to 6g – 3 months 6 g 4 g – 3 months 4g to 2g – 3 months to 2 g 0g – 4 months 0g to 00G – 4 months
