The C7 By Nokia Combines Style And Substance
Combining stylish design with an impressive spec list, the Nokia C7 is a Smartphone which has it all. With key features including an 8 mega-pixel digital camera, 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen and heaps of on board storage, it ticks all the boxes in terms of functionality and style.
The dimensions of the handset itself are 117.3x 56.8x 10.5mm, whilst it weighs in at a mere 130 grams, making it a pocket friendly, lightweight Smartphone. The 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen is so superb not only for navigating the user interface, but also for watching videos or playing games. This is thanks to a pixel configuration of 360x 640 which is able to display up to 16 million clear and vivid colours. In order to view the screen’s content in both portrait and landscape modes, the handset comes with a built-in accelerometer sensor, along with a proximity sensor.
Users are alerted to incoming calls, messages and emails thanks to MP3 and WAV ringtones, which functions alongside vibration. There is a 3.5 mm audio jack which can accommodate earphones for listening to music via the internal media player, or handsfree headsets. Handsfree conversations can also be carried out thanks to a built in speakerphone system.
The Nokia C7 offers generous internal storage capacity of 8 GB as standard. This makes a great phone for those who like to keep loads of music tracks or video files etc on their phone; however they can attain further storage thanks to an integrated microSD slot which can accommodate a memory card of up to 32 GB.
The Nokia C7 is a great phone for browsing the Internet on the move, thanks to fast and reliable connections provided by both 3G coverage and Wi-Fi connectivity. The latter provides a fast and uninterrupted browsing experience whenever users have access to nearby wireless networks. In areas where no Wi-Fi is available, 3G coverage allows browsing speeds of up to 10.2 mega bytes per second thanks to an HSDPA connection. The handset stays connected to the appropriate mobile operator’s networks thanks to both EDGE and GPRS, both in class 32 versions.
The Nokia C7 is an ideal Smartphone for those into their photography. A superb 8 mega pixel digital camera is provided, and has an abundance of features including fixed focus, face detection geo-tagging and dual-LED flash. As if superb quality still images weren’t enough, the camera also boasts the ability to shoot high definition video footage, in 720p quality.
Symbian 3 is the operating system of choice, and in conjunction with a 680 MHz processor under the hood, provides a fantastic user experience. The Nokia C7 is as versatile as they come. With plenty of entertainment features to keep users occupied for hours on end, as well as productivity tools for when you are out of the office, it provides something for everyone.
When searching for new Smartphone, most people make a choice based on either design or functionality, but with the Nokia C7 you get the best of both.
