Motorola Pebl U6: Inspired by Mother Nature
A mobile phone that includes all modern day mobile functions while maintaining a look that is close to nature – thats Motorola PEBL U6 in a nutshell. Motorola has the habit of naming their devices in tune of their source of inspiration. Just like a razor in the RAZR series or Silver in the SLVR model, the source of inspiration for the Motorola PEBL U6 is a pebble. True to its name, the Motorola PEBL U6 looks more like a beautiful pebble grinded by a sea.
Designers have taken enough care to resemble the Motorola PEBL U6 to a true pebble. Almost the entire body is made of metal. However unlike other shiny metal solution, like the LG shine, the Motorola PEBL U6 sports a matt finished paint thus creating a unique look and feel. The fact that the handset do not leave fingerprints and is not easily soiled is another advantage that it enjoys over other shinny metal solutions. To maintain its simplistic looks, the clamshell with smooth and rounded edges is fitted with an external monochrome display that remains hidden when not in use.
Opening up the Motorola PEBL U6 reveals its flat, metal etched keypads – like the ones used in RAZR phones and its TFT based primary screen that can produce more than 256k colours across its 176 x 220 pixels. Visual delights with an embedded VGA camera for quality still as well as video photography or different media format playback with its on board media player – the Motorola PEBL U6 is a strong multimedia tool.
The Motorola PEBL U6 supports all four GSM mobile network bands and changes its band automatically when need be. Connectivity options is not limited to voice functions, but it merely begins their. From GPRS to SCREEN3 – a click-less way to access latest news, updates and entertainment, the MOTOPEBL is as good with data connections as it is with voice.
