What 3D program is used to make robots in the Helio Ocean trade?
What program is used for 3D animation make the robots in the commercial new Helio Ocean?
Hard to say for sure, but 3D Studio Max and Maya are the most popular 3D modeling and animation programs available. It is used in everything from special effects in film, video games, prototype products, etc.. They are much fun to play with and prepare for a steep learning curve before they can cool anything. I could start after taking a lot of 3D modeling and animation courses and tutorials in the following very good books. This is a full version of their excellent program, the only catch is that you can not use it for commercial purposes (making money), you can download at the link above. Personally, I think 3D Studio Max is a little easier to use, but its expensive. If your curiosity, def check out the free 30 day trial. Hope this helps!
