Why won’t Motorola SLVR play mp3′s over stereo bluetooth?
Hello, I have the Motorola SLVR cell phone with Itunes. I recently bought Insignia Stereo bluetooth headphones to sync up with my PC and Phone.
The headphones work great, on both my PC and my phone with one exception…..when I start up Itunes, no sound comes out of the headphones. I can make and receive calls with ease but it won’t play music.
Is there anything I can download or a way to update my phone to be able to get Itunes to play over my stereo bluetooth? Seems pretty stupid for Motorola/Itunes to not make this function available over bluetooth.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
The SLVR does not have the A2DP bluetooth profile used for stereo bluetooth. I am not aware of any types of downloads that you can get for this.
It’s the way the phone is designed. You can try calling motorola to see if they have a solution (1-800-331-6456)would be the only other thing you could do, but I am fairly certain you are not going to be able to do it.
