The Jabra GN9350 Headset
The Jabra GN9350 is a hands-free, wireless headset that is used for office settings, contact centers, and recreational listening. This communications system can be used with both traditional phones and for IP (internet protocol) telephony, meaning it can go through your PC and connect to computer networks worldwide. Jabra products have led the industry in innovative features and continue to improve as time goes by.
The GN9350 features a light-weight ergonomic design and three options for your choice of wearable comfort: the headband, behind-the-neck band, or an over-the-ear hook. Its range goes up to 300 feet and uses DECT 6.0 technology on the 1.9 gHz radio frequency which does not conflict with any nearby Wi Fi interactions. This product was the first to offer full convergence between traditional and IP telephony and was also the first to provide DSP (digital signal processing) enhanced sound clarity. The GN9350 system was the first wireless headset to feature wideband audio at 6.8 kHz which is more than twice that of traditional telephony.
Of course, the trademark Jabra noise cancelling microphone makes it easy for clients to hear you and not background office noise. Up to four headsets can participate in conference calls with digital 64 bit encryption that secures business confidentiality even without a private conference room.
This unit is compatible with Microsoft Office Communicator applications and has up to nine hours of talk time on one battery charge. Users can also answer and end calls remotely without returning to the base, making it easy to multitask. The base has an easy to read LCD display with volume and mute controls, as well. Jabra has recently updated this unit with the GN9350e, the enhanced version of the GN9350.
