I bought a car that was brand new and it has been nothing but trouble – what do I do?
I bought a new Mazda 6 in 2005. During the second year of ownership, I had 5 questions while under a mandate (all non-related) and now my warranty has expired. Now that my warranty is up, I had two more problems with the car. My troubles have included: the throttle body sensor to be replaced (twice), a Bose radio bad (replaced), air conditioning is out, the power went out mid-board, the battery is shot, and now I need new tires. Is it normal to have this many issues with mazda 6, especially when he was still under warranty? I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, because I can not afford to trade against a new car because of what I owe. I only spend my time with dealer for repairs and give them more money now that the guarantee is in place. Is what I can do? The dealer told me just what is normal and wants to sell me a new car I can not afford. Someone … please help! And BTW … do not buy a Mazda 6, unless you have lots Time, patience and money!
The battery is about three years. It's a little early, but not totally out of line for that must be replaced! Tires are an element of wear, and depending on the mileage of the vehicle, again there is nothing abnormal who need to be replaced. You can probably get a replacement battery from a store or parts store and it will be cheaper than having done at the dealership. Shop for new tires and you can save money too! It does not seem to have major problems! Keep the car and pay down your balance!
