This product was recommended for the honor. They know whereof they speak. Excellent product. More than satisfied my expectations. Good choice for use on indoor range
Good choice for long sessions at the shooting range inside. Very comfortable earpads. Excellent sound insulation. Hearing returns after rapid amplification shot is fired. Overall excellent value for money. It is to replace 6S my old phones. They were smaller and more convenient, but hard to wear pads much more than a few minutes at a time.

Excellent hearing protection
Received exactly what was expected of a product Peltor. Excellent hearing protection and comfort. These were for the better part of four (4) days (40 hours) in a course of defensive handguns Sight in Nevada before and barely noticed. A bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

I bought the Peltor Tactical Hearing 7s just over a month ago. This is the first set of electronic hearing protection used and I never wished I had bought earlier. The NRR NRR on my pair is 25 which is lower than foam earplugs normally used the i which had a NRR of 31, but I have not really noticed a huge difference and I have very sensitive ears! I used this pair of shooting handguns (.40 Cal semi-autos) outside I usually shoot 150 to 200 rds every other day. I am waiting to use my 12 gauge shot. They have worked flawlessly. The 7s returns immediately in its normal, after a shot and even works great with a quick shot. They are really easy to adjust and they stay in place during execution different objectives. The ability to adjust the sound level so it looks like you do not even have them on is amazing. I can have a conversation with someone over 30 feet away without proplem then a second later I could be shot. The longest I've worn these is about whenever I wanted to talk to someone or hear instructions to the beach is really what sold me. The protector is made of quality materials and the battery is really easy to change, even if you change it! If you remember to turn them off when you should never make a proplem. They also buzz a little when they are raised all over, but how much for me and I think it's picking up every sound around at once. I also heard they are not as great in a shooting gallery, but I'll find out as soon as winter hits. And compared to prices in other electronic hearing protectors, it is many things. Ive seen these sell for nearly $ 200! I bought a new mine at $ 118 w / shipping. Can not Beat that! Try them!

Excellent for hunting or tactical situations
I use my Tac7 hearing protectors for many years. The only time he failed was when the (easily replaceable) battery 9 volt died. Keep a 9 volt battery and a coin with your range equipment, and you're ready for it. Even when the battery is dead, they are also good as most passive headphones. As others have mentioned, there is a time for your normal (or improved) to return hearing. It just a question in a range force. Even then, they work the same as a non-electronic sleeve. Depending on where I'm sitting at the beach announcements on the loudspeakers can trigger the break. This is not a problem. Sounds that are loud enough to trigger mitigation, are abundantly hard to be heard while the speakers are off.
I went hunting tour and the guide had no hearing protection. I lent him my Peltor Tac7s and was amazed at how much more he could hear that his natural hearing. When you take a picture, sound cutting before finding an explosion. The amplification comes up fairly quickly, you can hear your long-range shots.
My brothers have owned (and I've tried) other brands of electronic sleeve. It was something he found for $ 30, and he loved what I can for one year. It has not amplify weak sounds, and he stopped working at all after one year. Another brother bought a sleeve that amplifies the sound below 85 db, and reduces loud noises to 85 dB (up to the ability of the audible reduction of -21). They cost as much as Tac7, and none of us like them too. Its held up as well as Tac7s, but the "dimmer" function seems quite natural. He was satisfied, but it would if he had bought the Peltor tried both the first track.
The only drawback I've noticed on these sleeves is when you quickly mount a rifle or shotgun. The headset works great so for guns, can be pushed slightly away from your head by the stock. To a hunter, who spends much time at the beach, and not much time hunting with a rifle or a shotgun (and no one wants to pay for an electronic hearing protection) I recommend these. They offer better protection against the noise Slimline versions, and are quite comfortable.

Costs more expensive, but worth it
These are very effective protective cushioning for loud sounds. I use them regularly in an indoor range and can hear the conversations that no gunshots in the background. They are very effectively dampen noise from the shooting.
They are all pretty comfortable, which means I do not notice them until I'm busy, but would not let my head once I'm done on the range.
Overall, I recommend these for all serious photographers.
