Music Headphones Buying Guide – The different styles of helmet
Thinking about getting a pair of headphones to listen to your music music? How can you find the best stereo headphones for your needs?
In the market today, there are many manufacturers of headphones and models to choose from. Helmets increasingly popular because music is everywhere we are, on our phones, MP3 players and laptops. Latest generations of lightweight headphones bring music and high-resolution stereo sounds directly in our ears, no matter where we are.
It may or may not be a style that will fit your needs. Whether you prefer headphones tight fitting, or full size "cans" (Headphones) is a matter of personal preference, and there is nothing wrong with owning more than one pair of courses. How do you plan using your headset will also be an important factor in determining what models will work for you.
That being said, the first step to choosing a pair of headphones is to decide which style or styles work for you.
Below is a breakdown of the different styles of music with headphones:
Earphones
You're probably familiar with most earphones headphones that usually come free when you buy an MP3 player, iPod, iPhone, iTouch, smart phone, etc. These seats tiny earphones inside the ear canal. Headphones are very small, making them ideal to travel with, they provide moderate to good insulation against external noise, and are pretty cheap. However, they generally provide the highest audio reproduction quality, can be uncomfortable over long periods use or for those who do not like things in their ear canal, and they also tend to fall during the race or other physical activities.
Sport Clip Headset or Helmet
You may remember this group of helmet as the helmet yellow used to come with the yellow color Sony Walkman. Today some of these models have a plastic like hoop that goes over your head, around the back of the neck, or clip on the ear. These are the type I personally like to use when running or lifting weights at the gym. They stay on your ears a little better than headphones during the activity, need not be placed in the ear canal, do not overheat your ears, are portable and easy to travel with, and are quite cheap.
Heaphones pad
The platelets of these headphones sit on your ears as opposed to your ears (like headphones) or completely surround your ears like (circumaural headphones size). They tend to be quite at ease, can provide high quality audio reproduction, not overheating as far as ear headphones completely sealed are usually moderately priced. However, they may be uncomfortable for long periods of use because they push down on ears since they are sitting on them.
Fully Sealed Headphones
These headphones are also known as "cans" headphones, ear headphones and even a few other names. Basically, they seal around the ear, so it is completely closed, This helps eliminate outside noise while producing a high quality experience for audio listening. These headphones offer experience the highest quality audio listening full service wide range of sounds, and eliminate outside noise. These headphones ears can overheat and be uncomfortable over long periods of time, they are generally not as portable as the first two styles above and they can be very expensive depending on the model.
Noise Headphones
These headphones help to eliminate noise by creating noise. You may have seen people on the plane by using this type of helmet to help eliminate the sound of wailing engines jet, while listening to music or maybe not. These headphones help reduce ambient noise, you can listen to your music at lower volumes, and can produce very high quality audio. Some users may be annoyed by the pressure created to eliminate the noise (Those with very sensitive ears), they can be bulky and heavy, always use battery power and can overheat the ears.
Headphones Wireless
With advances in technology, these types of headphones are increasingly popular in today's market. They have no ropes to keep you tied up or getting tangled. These headphones usually can not deliver the sound quality of wired headphones, they can be costly, and can also be bulky and heavy.
