History of Tissot
Father and son Charles-Félicien Tissot and Charles-Emile founded a company called watchmaker Tissot (Not to be confused with another brand of watches Mathey-Tissot ) in 1853 in a beautiful serene called Le Locle located in the Jura region of Neuchatel, Switzerland.
From day one, Tissot has earned a good reputation in the Luxury Swiss watch production quality and sell them at a more affordable price. There is also a watch company became the first of many documents historical shows. In the world of sports, Tissot watches have been seen worn by footballer Michael Owen, the first female IndyCar driver Danica Patrick, the champion MotoGP Nick Hayden.
Tissot is now represented in over 150 countries. It does not pass under some mergers in the past, but they did Tissot highest in the company. In 1930, Tissot merged with the first Omega watch and the family became Tissot-Omega. Upon merger, they have become one of the greatest successes of watches sold. Then in 1983, both Tissot and Omega watches merged with the largest producer and distributor of watches Worldwide Swatch Group AG .
Tissot is also the first producer Industry Switch traditional shows in terms of number of units produced. In recent years, Tissot has become known to increase public after the release of watches with T-Touch technology. These new productions has sapphire crystals touch.
