Virtual rear view mirror
This invention is a small LCD screen single or multi-part which is connected to one or more cameras near the back of a semi. It basically gives truck drivers a mirror to improve driver safety and minimize theft.
Note: Coming up with new ideas is easy. Getting a patent costs about $ 6000 and there is no guarantee that your idea will never a penny. It is also not easy to get a company to buy into your idea unless your friends with the CEO or if you have lots of money further to travel around and make presentations.
Technical Short Bio
Daniel Nase attended Pacific Lutheran University at the age 15 in the Advance College Program and spent much of his time reading graduate papers in the university library. Many of his instructors and mentors were amazed by his ability to think outside the box in business, medicine, mathematics, chemistry and physics. Daniel began working on advanced calculus, Riemann equations and theoretical physics, while attending Washington High School. He also attended the Air Force JROTC and earned a private pilots license through Clover Park Technical College.
Daniel joined the National Guard at age 16 with parental consent and worked as an Apache / Chinook helicopter mechanic for several years before be recommended for a program officer in the nuclear elite. For three years he has been engaged in marine rigorous training program in Advanced Electronics and Nuclear Physics in Orlando Florida. He graduated top of his class and spent nine months in the Mediterranean before being honorably discharged.
Daniel designed and built the AMTECH Thermonuclear Converter Laboratory at NASA's Jet Propulsion in July 1997. This device provides power nuclear satellites in deep space and was created during the mission Pathfinder. He also worked on X-ray tubes, electroplating, making silicon carbide crystals, electronic drafting, and generating 3D images in Silicon using two scanning lasers. He received this prestigious summer internship through the MSEP program with Scott Minnix at University of Washington and Linda Rodgers at NASA.
In 1997 and 1998 Daniel helped build a mainframe computer from scratch in under work-study program. He also learned basic AutoCAD and networked computers in astrophysics all four floors of the University Melting of Washington and also worked on the accelerator RAM.
Daniel has played a non-executive in Infinity Group to work as an installation / renovation Engineer III for several years in the semiconductor industry. There, he applied his training in the army doing work in network engineering, applications engineering, robotics, UV optics, pneumatics and advanced electronics troubleshooting for KLA-Tencor Corp. He was responsible for installing and aligning Starlight and Lightning series systems reticle inspection worldwide. This gave him the opportunity to improve its ability to speak German, Japanese and French.
