Information about Samsung SGH-G800 Review
Drag the top of the lid section and flat keypad is revealed. It is large enough and easy to use. Open, the phone is a generous 135mm tall. Closed, it is 101.5mm in height, and anyway it 52mm wide. As regards the thickness, Samsung lists to 18.8 mm, but that does not cover the camera mounted at the rear lens that protrudes from the main body of the phone. Include the cover and by my calculations G800 measures in at 22mm thickness. Weight-wise you're looking at 129g.
It can be big and heavy, but the design is elegant with a brushed metal finish. The front of the camera is dominated by the 2.4-inch 262K color 320 x 240 pixel QVGA display which is clear and clean with a D-pad and call buttons at the bottom of this below.
Samsung has already reached the mark five megapixel camera phone in Europe with its stylish G600 – reviewed here. The G600 pressed his camera in a standard, but the G800 has been built from the ground up with the camera as the key element of the phone. That said, it is also equipped with the latest 3G HSDPA connectivity, meaning maximum download and surfing speeds up to 7.2Mb / s if your mobile network operator, it takes supported.
Design
For a company that is deemed to slim phones like the U700, the G800 is far from being ultra thin. It This is the same size as the Nokia N95 weighs 129g and not-so-pocket environment. Beyond its chunkiness, it is an attractive handset with a glossy finish similar to the LG Shine and a reassuring solid casing made of metal and plastic.
If most of the factor did not prevent the N95 hit the bestseller list, the G800 is not quite the same features heavyweights – such as integrated GPS and dedicated controls for music – even if it is only optical zoom edge.
Features
In terms of features, the Samsung G800 really takes Portfolio Samsung's camera phones to a new level. Combining a 5-megapixel sensor, Xenon flash, autofocus, LED focus-assist lamp, 3x optical zoom (Interior) zoom, image stabilization (digital) and red-eye reduction, it is impressive on paper near a standalone digital camera.
The design combines the look of a mobile and a sharp digital camera.
