Sony Car Stereo Helps Motorists Drive Safely
Road safety has always been a top priority for motorists all over the world not only for the occupants but also for pedestrians. To ensure the safety of drivers while navigating busy city streets or wide open highways, they need to be focused on what they are doing. Sony, one of the huge share holders in the consumer electronics game, is one such company that has dedicated time and effort in the advancement of road safety with the aid of hands-free devices.
Sony’s latest car stereo is one that will surely be welcomed by the safety conscious public. What sets this car stereo apart from other similar products is that it has integrated Bluetooth technology. The MEX-BT2500 is an AM/FM CD receiver but has the ability to connect to Bluetooth enabled devices.
The MEX-BT2500, according to Brennan Mullin, the Director of Marketing for Mobile Electronics at Sony Electronics, “This car stereo offers more functionality for less”. He further added that: “With Bluetooth hands-free technology and audio streaming capabilities, you can’t afford not to have it in the car. This is a perfect solution so drivers can talk on their phone while driving.”
The car stereo’s head unit can be mated with Bluetooth enabled devices with ease. Such devices include phones and this capability of the MEX-BT2500 allows minimal distractions to the driver. This can significantly reduce traffic accidents as the result of drivers who are distracted while their holding a phone in one hand and the steering wheel on the other.
The car stereo Sony MEX-BT2500 can accommodate up to five mobile phones which makes it ideal for a big family or a large group. The microphone is integrated behind the faceplate of the car stereo which means that installing the Bluetooth car stereo is just as easy as installing a regular car stereo. Indeed the installation is just as easy as replacing or fitting new Nissan parts and to give mobile phone user premium call clarity thanks to Sony’s noise cancellation and echo reduction technologies.
Since the car stereo is integrated with Bluetooth technology it can accommodate Bluetooth music devices. Not only can these music players be connected with wires to the car stereo, it can also be connected to the MEX wirelessly. While playing your song, the car stereo’s head unit will display key information like track title, artist, and album. For those whose music players are not Bluetooth enabled, they can still play their music via the car stereo with the use of an audio jack. So aside from giving consumers the ability to choose their favorite radio station or play their CDs, MP3s and WMA, the car stereo also allows the connectivity of other music players. This means that those who opt for this car stereo will have a wider choice of where to get their music from.
The car stereo has an output of 52 watts over four channels. This gives consumers clear and rich sound quality for their entertainment while keeping them safe.
