The Palm Treo 750 smart phone goes where you go. It combines a world GSM phone, email, broadband wireless, and Windows Mobile – all with world-renowned Palm ease. And the sleek, midnight blue design with our new soft-touch finish feels great in your hand. Occasionally the Treo 750 can enter a state where sounds are lost for phone calls and notifications. This can result in missed calls and notifications.
The root cause of the Palm Treo 750 losing Audio Alert capabilities is too many applications utilizing the audio driver. In certain situations when the user activates too many applications that need to share the device audio driver, system sounds and notification sounds can become muted. These applications can include the device Notes Recorder, the Vibrate Motor, Voice Command, Windows Media Player, and/or the camera/video recorder. All of these applications need to resource the audio driver, and when too many are used simultaneously.
The biggest feature of the Life drive, the 4 GB internal hard drive, is a mixed blessing. I love the huge storage capability, which offers a lot of different options. But the performance hit in both speed and battery life is disappointing. Still, if you want major storage, this is the only way to go on Palm OS. The price tag for the Life drive is also rather high for some of the features–you could literally buy a dual wireless Pocket PC for half the price of a Life drive, and still have money left over for a 4 GB solid-state flash memory card. Nearly-endless storage makes this a great device for toting and viewing lots of files.
The Palm One 750 has a 2.5 mm stereo headset jack and the Palm Multi-Connector. Luckywireless users can enjoy listening to songs from their personal music collection, viewing photos or watching video clips. To highlight the music capabilities of our phone, Real Networks is giving Lucky wireless customers free access to its Rhapsody client, which they can use to manage their personal music collections.
The built-in voice recorder allows for hands-free notes or personal narrations to accompany photo slideshows. Users of the Luckywirelss mobile will enjoy fast performance for business and multimedia applications, thanks to the 416MHz Intel XScale processor.
The expansion card slot, which supports SD, SDIO and Multi Media Card formats, makes it easy to transform the Lucky wireless mobile into a camera companion. Instead of bringing a laptop on vacation, users can simply download images from the camera’s SD memory card onto the Luckywireless mobile to free up the card for more photos and enjoy photos on a larger screen. Text and multimedia messaging was handled through the Messaging application. Like on Garnet OS Treos, text messaging is shown in a chat interface. This makes it easy to go back and read old messages.
