Can I use bluetooth speakers for watching movies on my laptop with good quality?
I have a laptop which I use mainly for watching movies, and I think to upgrade my 2.1 speaker system that has Bluetooth capabilities (A2DP and AVRCP). No son around my computer portable, it would be easier to move around my room. But will I be able to watch movies using the bluetooth connected speakers with good quality Audio?
Bluetooth is a digital interface. Provided they have enough bandwidth for digital audio (2-ch is about 1.5 Mbit / s) and there is no drop due to distance, a digital interface has nothing to do with audio quality. The audio quality depends on the quality stakeholders. To move around your room, you still need power. If you use the battery, most laptops operate at low speed to conserve energy, which can cause playback problems. Having a blue-tooth transmitter, means for draining more power from your battery. So do first test your laptop in battery mode.
