Great netbook
Bought this because I was tired of dragging around my laptop when traveling. This is very Compact, lightweight and fits into a bag of medium size. The screen is very clear, the buttons are very comfortable, and it can go almost all day without recharging. I have the extra memory with it, I also bought a soft case (I have one later). A great product!

Love this netbook
I had this for over a week now and I love it. I have big fingers and the buttons are easy to use for me. I ordered the ram amazon recommends for this netbook and after installing it the netbook would not start. I tried to replace several times but it still would not work. I then took my netbook to a repair shop local pc and have tried 2 other ram poles based on manufactures recomendations but no luck will try later ram

Love, love, love this computer
I make many purchases on Amazon. I look at the comments and what's best seller. I knew I wanted a netbook. I chose this bridge because of the reviews it received from both Amazon and other sites. I love it! The screen is crystal clear. The keyboard is nice and large for a netbook. My husband has an Acer and we agree, that better netbook. The style is excellent. I only need to surf the net, so I can not comment on the use of programs and others. I would be surprised if someone was actually disappointed by this product.

Simply brilliant!
My house has five computers, which is the best. I keep it in sleep mode while opening and closing cover and the battery can last up to two days with moderate use. This is our first Windows 7 and it works well, recognition our domestic network and NAS without any effort. I use a combination of Chrome, Picasa (with Eye-Fi) Security Essentials and Office, and it is quite zippy.

The Gateway LT2118u all specifications mentioned in the product page. I only wish it had integrated Bluetooth. The screen collects dust easily. No other complaints. One of the best netbook out there compared to other brands. The battery life came almost 10 hours of treatment, net surfing and speech. Definitely a purchase from Dell and HP / Compaq.

Hello, I had this netbook Feb.4 last and everything is perfect no problems happened monkey business no joke. The netbook is really cute and Im so happy I got it. One thing I'm not happy to buy this netbook fair because my wife is dying to have it now, I have nothing. I recommend this to everyone especially the youth and women.

I must admit I was not even thinking about getting a netbook until I Having LT Gateway. All I wanted on a netbook is available on this computer. First, I must say that the netbook is magnificent. I did not get it From the Amazon, because it was really an impulse purchase. I did not even get a netbook when I went in this store, but as I walked by the computer section, I saw this netbook and it stands completely above the rest. Again the frame on the netbook is beautiful, it reminds me of something that Apple has created. LED 10-inch screen is amazing. I watched an episode of The Simpsons on the screen and it was really amazing. I do not think it's a HD screen, but to be honest, you would not believe it. With its high resolution and LED backlight on screen to view photos, watch videos, and web browsing is top notch.
The keyboard is great. the keyboard is similar to what the MacBooks have. The keyboard was the main reason I was so uncertain with netbooks. I do not have small hands, and I thought typing on a keyboard netbook would be a strain, but to my surprise it is very easy. The keyboard layout is very similar to that of your average laptop, even if the keyboard is smaller than it really did not want. The keyboard is very sensitive.
The touchpad is also fine. When you look at it, it seems that there is not even at all. You know its there because there is a grid representing the touchpad. but it does not look like the touchpads Typical that you would see in most netbooks. Also left click and right is also incorporated into the design of this netbook. Also the rest of palm texture edition is a welcoming especially if you have to do a lot of typing, as I do typing this review.
It has the new Intel Atom N450. 10 hours a autonomy, built in wifi so easy to communicate. Windows 7 starter with the ability to upgrade. 60 days of Windows Office. stereo HD, webcam beautiful than can be used for video or even photos taken of yourself, and more
Overall it's the best netbook I seen or used, Gateway gets A + for their efforts.

The best netbook there
This is by far the best netbook on the market. Regarding the previous review, yes, the netbook comes with a sticker that says 8 hours of battery but my battery is 93% right now and has 9 hours 15 minutes on this, so the claim is correct 10 hours. I afraid that the keyboard is too small, given that the screen is 10.1 inches, but its full size keyboard and I had no problem with him. The big screen seems larger than 10.1 inches so.
The netbook itself is beautiful, I love the color white, and most people are surprised how pleasant it is actually. The computer is very fast and easy to adjust to. Basically, I put the battery in, it works, and immediately started using it. It's fast, efficient, PORTABLE!, Lightweight and convenient! I would choose Woindows 7 on XP edition, and 250 GB hard drive is great because most of the netbooks come with only 160. I would choose it over the $ 299 one. The netbook comes with 60 days trial Norton, and the only drawback for Windows 7 is that you can not change the background without upgrading the edition or something, but it does bother me not. The webcam is great and clear! The new touchpad is pretty cool too.
Overall, buy Great! Definitely recommend!
