Stereo Headset Headphone

The stereo headphone adapter for the Palm Treo 600 is able to work how?

I went to a radio today after the online search and see on Amazon.com and radioshack.com adapter standard stereo headphones for selling my Palm Treo 600 smartphone, they both been explicitly mentioned for Treo 600 and 650. Radioshack even had the special type of card with 4 contacts on the jack (headphones crossover or something). Anyway, we could not any output in the headphones but only by the speaker on the Treo with Pocket Tunes and RealPlayer. Is there a setting or something I'm missing to make it play through headphones. I checked my settings on my Treo and in Pocket Tunes and RealPlayer on the Treo. Jessica you have been reported I took the Treo with me at RadioShack and not buy any adapter when I realized none would work. yes, the regular microphone / head set to make calls hands-free working in decision-making so ik now works. I will try this media player instead of Pocket Tunes,

You had much better luck than me. Radio Shack did not know anything about them for my 600. I had to go on ebay and get the card! If you have Radio Shack, try to go there (take the original packaging if you have them) and their that it does not work, then ask them if they know what is the problem. They will be more inclined to help you and look deeper when they do no other customers waiting (they know they get to run errands for customers in line behind you, and you are "costs money") So try to go in about 7-9 at night when they are not very busy. I use TCPMP to play MP3 and immediately played as soon as I plugged it in Try to make a phone call and see if you are able to hear anything. Also, maybe try to synchronize to your computer and do a hard-reset, then see if it works.
