Oppo BDP-93 Overview – Universal Player 3D Blu-ray
The new Universal Blu-ray player from Oppo, the BDP-93 has the same price ($ 499) the old Oppo BDP-83. This is great news for us, since the BDP-93 is practically the same as Blu-ray BDP-83, but with some improvements major. Adding features such as 3D capability, online services, streaming media, wireless, DLNA, eSATA port and two HDMI outputs. Not to mention the best performance and build quality.

These files can be played on the BDP-93 via USB or both eSATA port on the back. ESATA allows all drives to be connected.
With 3D capability, networks and services online streaming are among the biggest additions to BDP-93. The wireless Internet provides easy access to online services like Netflix, CinemaNow and Blockbuster on request. Oppo is constantly working to bring more online partners on board and should be available soon.
Overall, the new Universal 3D Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray has done something extraordinary. He gave us an upgrade to Blu-ray DVD player, with significant improvements and new features without increasing the price. As Oppo BDP-83 before him, the BDP-93 seems to be the benchmark for all other Blu-ray DVD to judge by.
THE PROS: The Oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray DVD Player is not only a universal player capable of playing all disc types know, but it has a 3D capability, Wi-Fi, DLNA, eSATA port, Online Services streaming such as Netflix and Blockbuster in the application and two HDMI outputs. The player has an excellent video and audio providing the best possible image and sound.
