I have a friend who is in the market for a a set of wireless headphones for his computer. Sounds simple right?…just send them down to the local store and buy one. Well, it’s not that easy. There are so many to choose from and if you don’t know what you are doing you could end up buying something that really doesn’t do the job. So I decided to take it upon myself to do the research for him to find the best wireless headphones for computer on the market today and eventually came up with the Logitech ClearChat Wireless USB Headset
. What To Look For When Buying a wireless headphones for computer It didn’t take my long to realize that there are a few important things to keep in mind when buying a wireless headphones for computer. These are: What are the GHZ so to limit interference with other wireless devices
How far are the headphones able to get a clear signal away from the computer
What is the quality of the microphone for both conversations and voice commands
How does it interact with programs such as Skype and Instant messaging
If you just buy the first wireless headphones for computer you see based on price alone then you are destined for trouble particularly if you are going to be using it on a regular basis. So stick with me here as I will be explaining each of these in relation to the Logitech ClearChat Wireless USB Headset
It is 2.4 GHZ wireless , which means you will receive a lot less interference than headphones that have a lower bandwidth rating.
You can travel up to 33 feet away from your computer and still get good reception it won’t get you total house coverage but you can freely move around the room the computer is in and maybe even into the adjoining rooms.
The microphone has noise reduction technology that gives clear chats and voice commands and gives a good rating when used with Dragon Naturally Speak and other voice command programs.
The Logitech ClearChat Wireless USB Headset is approved to be used with major programs such as Skype®, Yahoo!®, Windows Live™, and AIM® it is also compatible with widows 7 , vista , xp and 2000.

What Others Are Saying This has received rave reviews from most consumers on the net with an average of 4.5 out of 5 from most reviewers on Amazon and the website itself. Here are some of the comments to date: I was impressed with the ease of setting them up. Plug in the USB dongle, turn them on, set games to use the new headset.
Quality construction – they aren’t breaking anytime soon.
I received mine today. Work just fine with all of the applications I have tested….iTunes, Ventrilo, World of Warcraft, etc. My Vent buddies tell me they sound better than the wired headset I was previously using.
Very happy with this purchase; Headset is light and comfortable. The boom mic will not interfere with pizza slices or martini glasses.

Any complaints? I found very few complaints for this on consumer sites around the internet. One consumer did suggest The USB Dongle connected to the computer FLASHES green incessantly until the headset is turned on and they sync.
