Is it possible to remotely access wireless products such Bluetooth, On-Star GPS in vehicles?
Would it be possible that hacker can gain access and control module PCM vehicle, acceleration and braking, anit-lock breaks, unlocking the car? Several months ago colleges hacked China tried to hack the Pentagon, could they actually hacked into the electronic system of a Toyota? If On-Star can unlock and start a vehicle can not someone else who knows the components of food .. thought!
I suppose that's possible. I learned long ago to "never say never." However, the chances of China who want to bankrupt Toyota and sow panic in the automotive world are fairly remote. My instinct tells me Toyota put too much confidence in "drive by wire" technology and the effect reverse. Give me a good old mechanical connections of the throttle and transmission at any time.
