Bluetooth communication software?
I am a member of my high school theater, and we are looking for an alternative cheap system wireless headset. We plan on using Bluetooth headsets that connect to a computer in our control room. Is there any software (preferably free or inexpensive) that allow us to connect multiple Bluetooth headsets to a computer with a so that they could talk to each other? Many people would need to talk to each other all at the same time, if this software would need to leave us do. Thank you! Hey Good-gart, I know that most Bluetooth works at that distance, but we have a bluetooth dongle for our computer that has a range of 200 m, then the signal and the distance are not issues. If you have a software recommendation for me, I would love to hear it.
You really think in the wrong direction. First, Range is a factor. Bluetooth has a range of 33 feet high. This does not mean it works out great at 33 feet. This means that in a perfect world, without any obstruction whatsoever (glass, walls, people, etc.), you * should * be able to establish a connection Bluetooth connection to a maximum of 33 feet. This means you should plan on 10 feet as your work area. You do not want your Bluetooth device loss connection and need to be reconnected every 5 minutes because you keep walking in and out of a work area. Bluetooth is designed for that person who wants a headset for their phone is in their pocket. It is designed for anyone who wants to use a Bluetooth headset with a laptop … while sitting at the laptop. In other words, very carefully. When we speak of distance communication, placing the word "cheap" means loss of signal issues, loss of fidelity (sound quality) issues … in general, it is one of those corners that you REEEEALLY do not want to cut. Now you might be talking only about the crew working behind the scenes that require helmets. But if you're relying on communications headsets, you really do not need to have your headphones cutting issues because of the range, and load issues. So what are you doing?
